In March 2020, a very important Naval Engineering Congress was held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, with the prominent participation of the Pan-American Institute of Naval Engineering.
In it, the engineer Podetti presented the book Industria Naval Argentina, 100 años (1937-2036) and coordinated the closing Forum of the Congress on the Future of the Shipbuilding Industry in Latin America.
